Today I share just a taste of lights from Christmas Eve.
Last night we drove through Albuquerque to see lights.
This particular set up was in a huge display on a Rio Grande Blvd property.
A small portion of our Christmas tree…
Lighted garland and bow in a corner…
May you find a gift and blessing in all that comes your way, and be a gift to the world around you.
The tulips are, as usual, brilliant this year.
I enjoy all of them and love how the sunlight gives them an extra glimmer.
Petite pink tulips stand up just as boldly as the red.
Mother and daughter standing peacefully together.
They are just as brilliant up close! The variety of colors and markings is a great reminder that we are all individuals with our own abilities and qualities, yet we are quite beautiful when put together…like the colors of the rainbow, they (we) go well together!
Prints, Canvases, and cards available for purchase.
“Confusion Illusion” gives the illusion of smoke swirling out of a valley, much as our minds feel clouded and confused on many a day.
In reality, the picture was created from a recent sunset picture with clouds of snow fog swirling up from the mountain.
After the better part of a day looking deeply into the elements, discovering the joys of photo negatives and color manipulation, and listening intently for the words calling out to me, I heard a still small voice…
“Does your mind seem to swirl
with blue smoke of confusion?
Step out and see past
where that smoke seems to curl.
See, life’s an illusion,
you’ll come through it at last.”
You see, when we can rise above a situation and see past it, we often see the confusion is only illusions the world uses to cloud our minds. Then we can understand we can do and be anything we choose.
Available for purchase as prints, canvas, acrylics, and note cards.
