The plum tree already looked like a pompom of snow because of the blossoms, so I had to see the results when we woke to 5 1/2 inches of snow April 2, 2012 .
Despite the cold and snow, the flowers persisted! Each one looked happy beneath the blanket of snow.
They set the perfect example, demonstrating the ability to joyfully endure through uncomfortable situations.
Three days later, the snow is long gone, but now the snow-blossom tree is adorned with a happy little bird.
