Above, part of the waterfall is frozen solid, while the other part continues to flow. Below is the outlet of a hose, where water dripped until ice formed.
Life can be like that partially frozen waterfall and hose if we allow it to.
Think about it. Water must continue to flow in order to be healthy.
A body of water (rivers, ponds, lakes, etc) can cease to flow for a variety of reasons. A closed off inlet eliminates the continual refill…it will eventually dry up. A closed off outlet doesn’t allow the water out, causing the water to become stagnant. Extended cold temperatures freeze water, not allowing it to move freely.
As human beings, our bodies are roughly 70% water (depending on who you ask). That water, in its various forms, is designed to flow. If we don’t move, body fluids don’t move well…those fluids stagnate and we become ill. Of course, if we continue to not move our joints literally freeze.
The same goes for our souls. Our creators designed us to be conduits of love and light. If we don’t allow love and light to flow in and out of us, our being becomes stagnant…frozen. If we allow difficult times to freeze us, we are of no help to ourselves or those around us.
I invite you to allow love and light to flow through you…as the water is designed to flow through the hose or over a falls… as water courses through your body its various forms.
Rather than freeze up in a time of difficulty or despair, let your love and light flow no matter your situation….You’ll feel better and have a positive impact on yourself and those around you!
